Adrien Broner is famous for his trash-talking. The former four-division world champion has become a household name in boxing. And, it is safe to say that how he talks to his opponents has played a role. Broner has been inactive in the sport since 2021. And none of his fights that were finalized made it to the ring since his last fight against Jovanie Santiago. Recently, the former champ took to his social media to give spark to one of the older controversies involving him and the Floyd Mayweather Jr team.

Broner shared an old clip of him having an altercation with a prominent ‘Money’ Mayweather team personality. And, for the fans who are aware of Broner’s upfront personality, this might not be a shock.

‘AB’ took to his Instagram to share an old clip of his from 2018. The clip was from the press conference for his fight against Jessie Vargas. In the video, Broner slams the CEO of Mayweather Promotions, Leonard Ellerbe, and furthermore, the two got into an altercation at the press conference.

Broner was the genesis of the altercation, as he started by calling out Ellerbe. He said, “Him right Here, Ellerbe against me. He is a b**ch ass nig** too.” Undoubtedly, Ellerbe took offense to this remark by Broner. And, He responded, ” Don’t disrespect me like that.”Broner called out Ellerbe again for being against him. Despite a lot of hearsay, Broner was never explicitly part of the Mayweather Promotions. But he shared a good relationship with the Mayweather team. But the friendship grew apart.

Further in the clip, Ellerbe tried refuting the situation and said, ” This isn’t about me. You guys gotta fight.” But Broner was not ready to hear that talk, and he slammed the CEO of Mayweather promotions by saying,” Shut that soft a** shit up. That’s some soft-a** shit. All that soft talk.”
