Mike Tyson was known to be the “The Baddest Man on The Planet” during his hey-days of boxing. However, as years passed, the ferocious knockout artist with a brash attitude transitioned into a gentle and caring family man. He is currently the father of 6 children; his 3 sons are Morocco Elijah Tyson, Amir Tyson, and Miguel Leon Tyson. He also has 3 daughters; Milan Tyson, Mikey Lorna Tyson, and Rayna Tyson. After winding down his boxing career, the former heavyweight champion gets to spend a lot of time with his family. In a recent episode of his podcast, Tyson revealed that he got exposed to the world of anime due to his kids.
Anime is an animated movie or tv series, traditionally made in Japan, which is watched all around the world by kids and mature audiences alike. However, in a recent episode of “Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson,” Tyson revealed he did not understand Anime.

Mike Tyson on watching Anime with his kids
In the most recent episode of, “Hotboxin with Mike Tyson” Trippe Redd was featured as a guest. Redd is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter. During the episode, Tyson asked Redd about his hobbies. To which he responded, “Honestly, other than the music, you know, I just be chilling for real, watch videos, playing video games.” Meanwhile, Tyson’s co-host, Sebastian Joseph-Day knew Redd to be a big anime fan and asked him about it.

Redd replied, “Yea, I love Anime,” Hearing this, Tyson got reminded about the fact that he saw Anime while his kids were watching it. However, Tyson did not understand the art form and made that evident when he stated, “My kids look at that. I do not understand that sh*t.”

Meanwhile, Tyson’s co-host is also a big Anime fan. Amidst this conversation, he stated, “I grew up on that sh*t for real,” While Tyson responded, “Really? My kids watch that sh*t.”
Safe to say, Tyson has been exposed to the world of anime but seems to have not come to grips with the concept behind the Japanese art form.

Mike Tyson once tried to recall how many kids he had on his podcast
Mike Tyson has fathered 7 children in his lifetime. One of his daughters, Exodus Tyson, passed away when she was 4 years old. After several years of being a father, Tyson still struggles to remember how many children he has given birth to. In an episode of his podcast, Tyson revealed how he was taught to count his children. He stated, “They taught me how to do this. I have two children with my current wife, two with my ex-wife, one with my ex-girlfriend, and who else? I have Mikey, I still don’t, I’m still missing three babies,”
