Ryan Garcia is slowly proving that he is aiming for gold in the boxing fraternity. In fact, he has proven his mettle once again with a stellar performance against Javier Fortuna.

Garcia faced Fortuna at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California on July 16, 2022. Fortuna showed a lot of drive in the ring,with an impressive start and resilience.

However, Garcia dominated the ring with 3 knockdowns. Moreover, he went on to win the bout during the 6th round by TKO.

Boxing fraternity reacts to Ryan Garcia vs Javier Fortuna

Ryan Garcia amazed notable boxing personalities with his performance against Javier Fortuna. In fact, many celebrities from the boxing world took to social media to share their thoughts.

Sports producer Victor Bermudez commended Garcia for his consistent performance and victories.

Meanwhile, boxing trainer and commentator, Teddy Atlas, mentioned that Garcia is a talented fighter. But he also added that he was sure of Garcia’s victory, and that he should step up with viable opponents.

Similarly, sports journalist Danny Segura also mentioned that Fortuna’s performance was not up to the mark. Moreover, he also mentioned that Garcia should face Davis.

On the other hand, Gervonta Davis also hinted at a potential fight with Garcia.

Former boxers Shawn Porter and Jamel Herring commended Garcia for his boxing style.
