The champ made a motivating and passionate speech, explaining how he became the man he is today. Amidst this, he acknowledged his love for the sport and why he never wants to stop boxing.

While talking about his exhibition fights, Mayweather stated, “I know you guys sometimes still see me doing different exhibitions. Now if I was taking some extreme punishment, then I wouldn’t do the exhibitions, but, my philosophy has always been, never stop getting it. So you know that’s why I still like to go out and have fun and do exhibitions.”

‘Money’ is one of the most lucrative fighters of all time, which has earned him around $1.2 billion thus far. However, the champ is a pure athlete at heart, who wants to continue doing exhibition fights for the love of the game.
Floyd Mayweather’s upcoming exhibition fight
The 45-year-old retired from the sport in 2017 when he defeated UFC star Conor McGregor and extended his unbeatable record to a perfect 50-0. However, he is still involved in exhibition bouts, and he last fought his former sparring partner Don Moore in May. Furthermore, he had also faced Japanese kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa in 2018 and emerged as the victor in an easy fight.
Moreover, now the Hall of Famer is going up against another Japanese fighter, Mikuru Asakura. The latter is a mixed-martial artist who has been a two-weight champion in Fighting Network Rings.
