According to sources, Johnson paid Vince McMahon, owner of the WWE, $15 million in 2020 to own the XFL league. The goal of “The Rock” and his business partner Dany Garcia is to develop football while helping players to enhance their physical and mental fitness. Garcia also stated, “We are bringing forward an XFL that is progressive and forward-thinking when it comes to innovation, leveraging the newest technology to enhance gameday experience.”
