Rising heavyweight prospect Jared Anderson has been arrested, according to a Huron Township official. However, he has not been charged with any crime at this time. While holding the number 8 spot on ESPN’s heavyweight rankings, Anderson is currently signed with Top Rank, led by boxing promoter Bob Arum. The company has declined to comment on the matter.

In November last year, ‘Big Baby’ was taken into custody in Ohio. He was charged with improperly handling firearms in a vehicle while being under the influence of alcohol and drugs. One month later, in December, the 16-0 Anderson pled no contest to an amended charge of improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle. However, the Operating a Vehicle while Intoxicated (OVI) charges were dropped.
