Tate posted a video from Garcia’s Instagram that he used to applaud him. Ryan Garcia put up a video from his fight with Fortuna and wrote in the caption, “This Fight For Me Represents Standing up those who can’t themselves at the moment, Also to Speak For those who have no Voice, To show Those Times in your life that knock you down, they don’t define you, WALK IN TRUTH, TRUST IN TRUTH, AND HAVE FAITH IN GOD Love Everyone.”
Sadly, KingRy recently lost his grandmother, and he was deeply traumatized after that. Even after going through a tough situation like this, Garcia not only prevailed in his mental struggle, he even defeated his opponent inside the ring.

KingRy was very close to his grandmother, and her death severely affected the boxer. But he didn’t let it get in the way of his profession. He entered the boxing ring with strong will and came out as the champion. Soon after his victory, he was asked whether the loss came in the way of his boxing.

Garcia answered, “She was very proud of how I fought. She would be in the comments responding to people. So one thing I know for sure, she always told me, Ryan, you better get out there and go fight, and that’s what I did.”
