Oscar De La Hoya is one of the most powerful people in the boxing industry. He has been associated with boxing for the past 3 decades and was a world champion in his prime. Now he owns his own promotions firm called ‘Golden Boy Promotions’, which he defines as “sitting on gold”. 

‘The Golden Boy of Boxing even posted on Twitter that he got a massive offer for GBP. He wrote, “Just received a 10 figure offer to sell @GoldenBoyBoxing what should I do?” 

Furthermore, he even stated in an interview with FightHype.com that he is willing to sell his firm if there’s a good offer. He said, “We are sitting on gold and I’ve never been one to shy away from a great offer. So, you know there’s several people who actually wanna buy my company and you know I’m gonna think it over, but I love the sport too much, so we’ll see what happens.”
