Garcia stated, “Golden Boy will not be able to [stop me from fighting Gervonta Davis]. They can’t. I will not allow it. There’s no way. I will go to war to fight Tank. I’m ready to do whatever I got to do, because at the end of the day that fight is going to get me my respect, and I think I deserve that… I’m very confident in beating him. He’s a great fighter, don’t get me wrong. But I’m just that much greater.”

Furthermore, he even stated in an interview with FightHype.com that he is willing to sell his firm if there’s a good offer. He said, “We are sitting on gold and I’ve never been one to shy away from a great offer. So, you know there’s several people who actually wanna buy my company and you know I’m gonna think it over, but I love the sport too much, so we’ll see what happens.”
