It looks like we could finally witness Anthony Joshua take on Tyson Fury in what promises to be one of the greatest modern era bouts. Both Joshua and Fury are considered as the best to step inside the ring. Additionally, a match-up between the two has been nothing but a tease for quite some time now.
Both the boxers have signed a multi-fight deal and are expected to take on each other sometime in the future. However, there are a lot of hurdles in the way. Needless to say, Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn looks positive about booking the hugely anticipated showdown.
“Just trying to solve any remaining issues of the fight, of which there aren’t many, to be honest with you, and try and move forward collectively to let the governing bodies know that we plan to stage this fight probably in May, and we would like this to be for the undisputed heavyweight championship of the world.”

Eddie Hearn may have stated that the mandatory challenger Oleksandr Usyk might not be fighting Anthony Joshua next. Earlier, the Ukrainian boxer had stated that either Joshua vacates the title or fight him next for the championship gold. However, with Hearn suggesting an undisputed showdown, it looks like AJ will be taking on the “Gypsy King” with all his belts around his waist.
