Terence Crawford Throws a Slick Jab at ‘Softest Person in the Room’ Shawn Porter

Terence Crawford and Shawn Porter are turning up the heat ahead of their Welterweight clash. The two will take each other on at the Michelob Ultra Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on November 20. Top Rank Boxing released a teaser to the second episode of their series Blood, Sweat and Tears: #CrawfordPorter Part 2.

Both fighters don’t hold back as they speak about each other. The clip begins with Shawn Porter saying, “What time is it? Showtime!” at their press conference. Crawford then throws a subtle jab at the former champion, “The loudest person in the room is always the softest person in the room”.

Porter then explains why he thinks he is the toughest opponent Crawford has faced. “Terence Crawford has not been in the ring with anyone who is willing to stand right there, and go. I intend to do just that.” 

Crawford throws another slick jab at Porter, imitating him, he says, “‘Imma do this to you, Imma do that to you’. I’m right here, why you doing all that extra show? I’m the person to tell you, let’s go in the back and let’s see who come out.” With less than two weeks to go for the fight, boxing fans are at the edge of their seats watching the build-up to this welterweight clash. Fans are eager to see who will come out on top on November 20.

Terence Crawford speaks out ahead of his fight against Shawn Porter

The Sportsman caught up with Terence Crawford to speak about his upcoming fight. The WBO welterweight champion will put his belts on the line against former champion Shawn Porter. However, Crawford is very confident heading into the fight. He spoke about how the fight against Porter could decide whether he is the best fighter in the world.

“We’ve got to see after this fight. My fight with Shawn Porter, and the fashion that I defeat him in is going to tell it all. Right now we can’t say, as Canelo has been putting on performances he’s been putting on. The fashion that he’s been winning in. We’ve got to wait and see.” Crawford said.
