42-year-old Manny Pacquiao will end his two-year-long hiatus from action by squaring off against Errol Spence Jr. for the welterweight gold on August 21. While the octuple world champion could have rightly retired, he is hoping to don a world championship again, at this stage.
Hence, unified lightweight champion Teofimo Lopez couldn’t help but pour his praises over ‘Pac-Man’. ‘Take Over’ connected with Fino boxing from his gym and shed opinion on Pacquiao vs Spence Jr. While he hailed both men for accepting the fight, Lopez appeared to back Manny Pacquiao slightly.
Teofimo Lopez said, “Anything could happen in Pacquiao you know, he has had a long period of rest too. I like both guys in that fight you know, and I think may the best man win, really. Manny has some much experience, that man can get through anything. As long as they have the right plan, whatever they do, man. They will be able to do all that.”

Meanwhile, Pacquaio has reportedly begun his training for the fight. He has posted a few clips of his sparring from social media, sending the fans into a frenzy. Although Errol Spence Jr. would never be an easy opponent, Pacquaio can still be the first man to defeat ‘The Truth’.

Can Manny Pacquiao beat Errol Spence Jr.?
It would be a risky fight for ‘Pac-Man’. 31-year-old Spence Jr. holds a record of 27-0, with 21 KOs under his name. Hence, ‘The Truth’ hasn’t left any losing samples for Pacquiao to utilize as a blueprint. So, the odds might not favor Manny Pacquiao to win the fight against the WBC/IBF 147 lbs titlist Errol Spence Jr.
