Devin Haney was in a loving relationship for over a year, but it reached its abrupt end in March 2023. Devin Haney was previously dating India Love and in 2021, they made their relationship official. ‘The Dream’ gifted Love a Range Rover and roses galore in 2022. They also took it to the next level, as India Love got herself a ‘Devin Haney’ tattoo. But unfortunately, on March 3rd, The Shade Room announced on their Instagram, that the beloved couple were no longer together.

Love also gave a message to Haney saying, “I wish him well.” At that time, Haney didn’t comment on the matter, and even now, he’s been quite silent on the subject of love and relationships. But recently on a podcast, after his Vasyl Lomachenko win, he spoke about his ideal kind of woman, as Haney is supposedly single right now.

Not long ago, Devin Haney appeared on The Danza Project for a podcast episode, where one of the hosts asked him whether he has children. Haney denied having any and then stated that he does want to have them in the future sometime. He is waiting for the “right woman’ to start a family with.

Although currently, Haney has been in dispute with his Lightweight rival, Shakur Stevenson, Haney is talking about love on the other side. Now, the fight offer received by Stevenson was 25%, which is too less for a man of his calibre. So he protested against such an offer, but Haney hasn’t given any verdict on this situation. He has also considered George Kambosos Jr for his next bout, thus moving on from Stevenson. Anyway, he’s taking some time off from all this ruckus and expanding his views on his love life.

He enunciated, “These girls out here is crazy“. The hosts agree and then ask him to describe the right woman. Haney proceeded further to say that he needs a girl who can cook, and clean, and wants to know stuff about him. She’d want to know what makes him happy and understand his lifestyle.

Simultaneously, he stated, “She gonna deal with whatever it takes to be with you because she for you.” So Haney definitely believes in the one and wants to find her someday. After the news of Haney’s breakup got out, he didn’t really address the situation directly but this is what he had to say.

“Everybody makes mistakes”: Haney on his breakup

So on March 3rd, Haney went on Instagram Live right after his breakup. He wanted to speak to his fans, and in one of the back-and-forth questions and answers, Haney spoke about the mistakes that he committed as a Muslim. Before dating Love, he was involved with multiple other women.

Haney said, “I never said I was perfect. I said that I went to Mecca, I washed away my sins, I’m trying to be a better person.” Then he continued to remark that there’s no such thing as a “perfect Muslim”, all you can do is just walk in the right direction. “Everybody makes mistakes, but you just gotta try to be better,” Haney said on his Live.

However, when it comes to directly addressing his equation with Love, he hasn’t uttered a word regarding that situation. Instead, he has spoken about being on the expedition of finding the right one for himself. What are your thoughts about Haney’s idea of a perfect woman? Let us know in the comments section.
