“This Is So Disrespectful”: Boxing World Left Outraged by ‘Absurd’ Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul ‘Fight for His Life’ Post

Hypothetically speaking, if prime Mike Tyson contested with prime Jake Paul in boxing, what would the end result be? At the beginning of 2022, ‘The Problem Child’ had proposed ‘Kid Dynamite’ a “New School vs. Old School” showdown in the ring. In fact, Jake Paul even contemplated a $200 Million -$300 Millon gain. Recently, a viral Facebook post gave an opinion on prime Mike vs. prime Jake in boxing.

With his physicality, while they predicted Paul to give Tyson “all sorts of problems”, they advised the latter to avoid the former’s “right hand” while fighting. “...if Tyson wants to see the final bell, he would have to be able to stay away from Paul’s right hand,” the post said.

“This is laughably absurd,” a user stated. One fan commented, “Fight would last about 10 seconds if it was real and Mike wasn’t carrying Paul at the behest of promoters” in the ring. They further commented on Paul fighting MMA fighters and retired boxers inside the boxing ring.

Meanwhile, one user felt such views were disrespectful to Tyson’s contribution to boxing. “This is so disrespectful to Mike. He is arguably the greatest heavyweight boxer of all time. This fight wouldn’t see round 2 and Jake Paul would never fight again after their 1-round fight,” they said.

While the post labelled it as a “fight of the year” event, a fan said Paul would “fight for his life” if he ever fought Tyson even in boxing.

Similarly, one user said, “Tyson now would devour him, Tyson then would have barely waited for the bell.”
