The much-awaited second chapter of the Anthony Joshua vs Dillian Whyte has been interrupted as the latter will not be allowed to enter the ring owing to the findings in his drug tests. The Voluntary Anti-Doping Association (Vada) informed stakeholders that his reports have returned with ‘adverse’ findings, given which he cannot be allowed to undertake the much-awaited fight against AJ. Amidst these developments, Derek Chisora is one name that has risen to replace Whyte.

It is being reported that the Heavyweight boxer is ready to enter the ring against AJ in order to enable the fight as scheduled. The latter’s promoters are on the lookout for a befitting fighter but not too damaging for the fight that is set to happen on the 12th of August. With less than a week left for the big night, ‘Del Boy War’ Chisora has jokingly suggested another fighter to face off against Joshua.

Abdu Rozik ready to fight Anthony Joshua

Tajik singer, famously called, ‘Abdu’,  found fame owing to his talent for singing Tajik rap songs. However, his first stint in boxing was against fellow internet sensation, Hasbulla Magomedov. A promotional campaign at its core, the video of this unreal bout saw virality instantly. Ever since then, Abdu has been the talk of the town for his witty sense of humor.

Derek Chisora took to his Twitter to post a video of Abdu and him hanging out in a boxing ring. In the video, Chisora claims that he has found the next opponent for AJ. He says, “Eddie, Frank Smith, 258. I got a replacement for you for AJ’s fight. Got a Big replacement for you for AJ’s fight. You don’t know, this guy would take AJ anytime, anywhere. WBC champion.”

Sunny M reminded Chisora of the defeat he faced through Dillian Whyte. In 2018, Whyte brutally defeated Chisora in the rematch through a KNO. Prior to this fight too, Chisora was given his defeat in a split decision in favor of Whyte.

Shh chimed in on the reports of Chisora possibly replacing Whyte.

Cal123 had a rather passive-aggressive response to the replacement for AJ’s opponent. He, however, seconded the chances of Chisora replacing Whyte.

Haile Selassie I did not entertain the funny jabs taken by Chisora.

However, with only a few days left for one of the biggest fights of Anthony Joshua, it is still unclear as to who will he go against. Will Derek Chisora get to go against AJ? It all depends now on Eddie Hearn. The promoter is on the lookout for an opponent against whom AJ can test his boxing prowess.
