Triller looks to reschedule the title fight between Teofimo Lopez vs George Kambosos Jr. yet again. Triller Fight Club CEO Ryan Kavanaugh spoke about shifting the date on the MMA Hour hosted by Ariel Helwani.
Helwani asked Kavanaugh about the Teofimo Lopez vs George Kambosos fight. Kavanaugh replied, saying, “I’ll give you some breaking news. We’re trying to put it onto the 16th from the 2nd, for one reason. We just realized the Raiders game is that Monday night on 2nd, I don’t think we wanna go against.”

“And then we started looking at what else is that week and we’ve got the playoffs the next night and a big fight. I forgot the fight was that weekend. But what we really wanna do, is do it at Barkley’s on the 16th with a full Verzuz connected to it.”
Triller already informed the IBF of their intention to change the date. The IBF decided not to stand in the way of the move. They will look to move the fight to the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, on October 16th. The promoters originally scheduled the fight on October 4 at the Hula Theater in Madison Square Garden, New York.

Teofimo Lopez vs George Kambosos Jr.
For Teofimo Lopez, this fight should be a routine title defense, as experts expect the champion to walk over Kambosos Jr. On the other hand, the clear underdog of the fight will look to score an upset against Lopez.
