Tyson Fury Vows to Make Oleksandr Usyk ‘Another Victim’ In a Potential Champion vs Champion Fight

WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury is unfazed by Oleksandr Usyk’s dominant win over Anthony Joshua for the WBA, WBO, IBF, and IBO heavyweight straps on September 25. And while a win against Wilder can bring ‘The Gypsy King’ before the Ukrainian champion, Fury is confident he would defeat Usyk easily.
Fury is also equally confident about vanquishing Deontay Wilder this weekend. Fury will return to action after almost 1-year. He will defend his WBC strap against former champion Wilder at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
And while this fight is highly anticipated, people have already started speculating who the winner of this fight can face next. Many believe that Oleksandr Usyk can be a potential opponent for the winner of this fight. In an interaction with FOX Sports, Fury talked about a potential fight with Usyk.

“I just think he’d be another victim of mine. He’d be another number on the long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long undefeated record of the heavyweight champion of the world, me,” said the WBC champion. (H/T:- Boxing Scene).
Usyk has been the underdog since he entered the heavyweight division. Despite this, he is now the undefeated world champion of the division, with most of the belts under his name. Hence, it will be unfair to write away his chances in a scrap against ‘The Gypsy King’. But Fury and Usyk are still far away from locking horns.
Per reports, Oleksandr Usyk will re-match Anthony Joshua. So, Usyk will have to repeat what he did in the first fight against ‘AJ’ before thinking about the other fights in the heavyweight division.

Going against several elites in his career, Tyson Fury has been unbeaten and flawless. While his physical frame may not be very intimidating, his impeccable skills put him on a level above all other champions.
30-0-1 as a professional, Fury hasn’t been invincible in his career. He has been hurt and shook several times. However, the Britisher always finds a way to win.

Thus, it’s hard to picture him loose, but that’s highly possible in recent times. The current heavyweight division is blooming with several A-listers. Therefore, while Fury is amongst the very best, he will have to be at his best if he wants to remain at the top.
