Together, let’s say no to bullying!

Expressing his gratitude, Jake Paul said, “Another successful @boxingbullies event! Thanks for coming out, Orlando.” The Instagram page of Boxing Bullies by Jake Paul has over thirty thousand followers. Its profile description reads, “We are a Non-Profit Foundation instilling confidence, courage, & leadership in youth through the sport of boxing while fighting back against bullying.

Launched two years ago, Paul’s Boxing Bullies held its introductory event in Puerto Rico on July 24, 2021. Collaborating with the island territory’s boxing federation for amateurs, they reportedly hosted nearly 100 regional champions. Besides nearly two dozen bouts that took place for the youngsters to participate in, they were also taken through workshops where the causes and aftermath of bullying were discussed.

The foundation frequently conducts fitness and self-defense workshops for children across the United States.

Jake Paul, boxing’s very own

Early on February 26, Jake Paul went against Tommy Fury. His first match against a genuine boxer ended in his first career loss. However, the Ohioan bounced back from the setback and returned in August to face Nate Diaz. Technically, he was the fourth former UFC fighter to fight Paul. However, the Stockton-born Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu expert gave a tough fight to ‘The Problem Child’ and took him the whole distance.

Long criticized for frequently going against retired mixed martial artists, in a statement Jake Paul mentioned, “I’m a professional boxer and I want to be world champion, so I need to pursue the path towards greatness against people who have been boxing their whole life.” As he goes against Andre August, a bona fide boxer, perhaps he wants to show his seriousness about pursuing the sport.

Andre August went inactive for close to four years and is almost 9 years older than ‘The Problem Child.’ However, he boasts a decent enough record of ten wins against a single loss. So a win over August could bolster Paul’s profile further. It might as well help him pluck out the influencer tag.
