Claressa Shields vs. Savannah Marshall’s undisputed fight could get postponed following Queen Elizabeth’s death

At the time of writing, Claressa Shields vs. Savannah Marshall’s undisputed title clash is scheduled to take place on September 10, 2022, at The O2 Arena, in London, England. This is slated to be a historic all-female card, with the co-main event featuring another significant title bout between Mikaela Mayer and Alycia Baumgardner.

Fans are excited to look forward to this all-female historic card. However, the event could get postponed due to Queen Elizabeth’s sad demise.

Renowned journalist Chris Mannix reported earlier that the promoters were scrambling to come up with a plan “in the event the Queen passes in the next two days.” Per his Tweet, a postponement should be expected.

Meanwhile, boxing journalist Jake Donovan, with a recent update, said the fight card is still intact and has not yet been postponed.

However, it could change “depending on memorial plans for the late Queen Elizabeth II.”
