Tyson Fury Boosts Age-Old Meme About Rival Luis Ortiz

Boxing fans of all types (hardcore and casual) are well acquainted with Tyson Fury and his intriguing trash talk abilities. He is one of the best trash talkers in the boxing space and leaves no opportunity to hit out at his rivals. Over the course of time, the Briton has taken aim at many heavyweight stalwarts. However, he recently shifted his radar to veteran Luis Ortiz.
As Ortiz and Fury haven’t been the top rivals of the big division, it was rather surprising to see ‘The Gypsy King‘ target ‘King Kong’.

Sharing an age-old meme of ‘King Kong’, the WBC heavyweight champ hit out at the Cuban boxer over his age. He wrote, “Luis Ortiz with Jack Johnson in 1909”
The Cuban boxer recently claimed a gratifying win over Charles Martin. In this fight, Ortiz was the first one to go on the canvas in round 1. Despite meeting the same fate in round four, the veteran showed resilience and kept on fighting until he got his moments in round 6.
Ortiz vanquished his nemesis with a big one and two, dropping him twice in the same round. He earned raves for his performance.
Will Luis Ortiz and Tyson Fury ever square off?
Despite Fury taking a dig at him, it seems unlikely that they will fight for the belts as Luis Ortiz isn’t there in the title race. Maybe he’ll need a couple of more wins to feature in the championship conversations.

Meanwhile, Tyson Fury will need to focus on the likes of Dillian Whyte (WBC mandatory) or names like Andy Ruiz Jr., and Robert Helenius- if he will only defend his Ring title.
