However, the heavyweight technician Tyson Fury made a bold remark, looking back at Mike Tyson’s prime.

‘The Gypsy King’ expressed his opinion on a tweet by ‘The Baddest Man on the Planet‘, after the epic battle for the heavyweight title clash between Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk.
Mike Tyson wrote that Joshua and Usyk ‘had a bad day that night‘ and then dropped a question, “From that performance do you really think they could have beat me in my prime?”

According to Tyson Fury, ‘Iron Mike’ would have torn apart former heavyweight champion Joshua and the reigning Ukrainian Usyk in his prime.
Mike Tyson’s Prime
Mike Tyson was a lethal stalwart who had most of the opponents beaten before they even stepped into the ring. He recalled his prime after watching modern-day pugilists Anthony Joshua and Usyk’s battle. Usyk emerged as a superior boxer by outclassing Joshua in a tough, unified battle.

He redefined the law of boxing. His feet, guard, hips, shoulder, and head were in the same alignment, which assisted him in keeping his balance in the three-dimensional ring.

The power he presented was substantial with deadly combinations. “Kid Dynamite” was an amazing pressure fighter. He was an incredible gift of obscene power and speed bestowed on the sports of boxing. All-time great Muhammad Ali said that Mike Tyson could have thrashed me in my prime. He outclassed some of the best boxers of his generation, like Tony Tucker, Larry Holmes, Tony Tubbs, Mitch Green.
