British fighters Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua have been strutting their way to the top of the heavyweight division. But they never locked horns with each other inside the ring. The two have, however, frequently been paired off in the past, and it recently seemed that they were very close to giving fans the eagerly awaited fight. Unfortunately, the bout was stalled once more, and Derek Chisora was brought in to replace AJ.

Derek Chisora is currently seen doing interviews and podcasts in light of his upcoming fight with Tyson Fury. While talking about Fury and Anthony Joshua, Chisora went on to unravel some thoughts about the two.

Chisora said, “They got so much bitterness of Anthony Joshua, I don’t know why. It’s because he is more likable than Tyson Fury. Because every time people say Anthony Joshua and then they say, Tyson Fury. So it’s the bitterness of that situation. AJ and Eddie Hearn started a trend and then suddenly now, they are here in Tottenham, following AJ’s footsteps.”

Chisora is a close friend of Joshua, and the two have been spotted together several times in the past. But Chisora’s remarks about AJ have left fans wondering about their friendship.

Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua: A long road ahead 

The Gypsy King’ will first fight Chisora on December 3rd, at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London. Before Fury was paired with Chisora, he was supposed to take on AJ on the same date, at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales. But the fight eventually fell apart.

Following his fight with Chisora, Fury will be looking forward to fighting Oleksandr Usyk for the undisputed heavyweight title. In addition, Deontay Wilder and Andy Ruiz Jr. have been ordered to fight by the WBC. And the winner will get a chance to go up against Fury for his WBC belt.
