The Australian Icon George Kambosos Jr is all set to defend his titles at the Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, Australia on June 5. ESPN Ringside combined the tweets between two Australian combat sports stars and shared them on Twitter.
At first, ‘The Emperor’ shared his picture on Twitter with a message. That says, “Victory by any means.” It displayed Kambosos engaged in a shadowboxing.
To which Volkanovaski replied, “Go get it, brother.”
Thanking the 33-year-old champ, Kambosos wrote, “Thank You brother, WAR Ready.”
As per the wish of Kambosos Jr, his opponent WBC lightweight champion, Devin Haney, traveled all the way to take a shot for the undisputed lightweight title. But unfortunately, the Australian government did not allow Haney’s father and trainer to enter Australia due to visa controversy.
Therefore, Haney’s corner will be managed by the father of former welterweight champ Zab Judah.
Why this clash between George Kambosos Jr and Devin Haney will be interesting?
The upcoming undisputed showdown will certainly be an interesting one because of many reasons. The most important one is that five titles: WBA, IBF, WBO, The Ring Magazine, and WBC lightweight are in a row and both the fighters who will battle for the throne are undefeated.
Moreover, the clash is days away and the exchange between the pair has added more spice to the event.

Ahead of the clash, ‘Ferocious’ labeled Haney as a ‘Rat’. Moreover, he said, “You know what, on Sunday, I’m going to whip your a**. And you know when you get back to Las Vegas, you’re gonna have to look out for Teofimo Lopez, because he’s going to be looking for you too.”
However, Haney did not back out from engaging in a trash talk. He targeted Kambosos Jr with the same intensity.
Let’s see what happens next. The Australian boxing fans are eagerly waiting to witness the biggest event in recent years.
