Jake Paul entered the boxing ring in 2018, and then he turned professional, aiming to become a champion. Fans troll him for not fighting a “real fighter” yet. He was supposed to fight the toughest opponent of his career, Hasim Rahman Jr. on August 6. However, the fight got shelved, and the news is making waves on the internet. 

Amidst this, MMA analyst and former UFC fighter Chael Sonnen shared his views on Twitter about the fight getting canceled. He wrote, “Anybody who wanted to fight would have threatened legal action against the commission. Whether they prevailed or not they would have made the threat. Top Ramen and Company laid down quickly.” 

The UFO champion defends Jake Paul while talking to the fans on Twitter. Sonnen believes that if Hasim Rahman Jr. wanted to fight, he would have threatened legal action against the commission.  He further responded to fans who were against the thought of Rahman Jr. canceling the fight and blamed Paul instead.

Dana White shares a piece of advice for Jake Paul

UFC president Dana White had a big share in popularising UFC around the globe. With his expertise and experience, he surely knows how to run the business and make fights happen. White was attending a press conference where he was asked about his views on Paul’s August 6 fight getting canceled.  

White replied, “I will say this, just because you were an accountant here, doesn’t mean you know what the f*ck goes on here. It doesn’t mean you can run a fight promotion company, you know. I think Jake Paul probably needs to get some different people around him. If he is gonna stay in this sport, he needs to be with guys that actually really know how to put on fights.”
