The news from Buckingham Palace on September 8 triggered a wave of sadness not only in Great Britain but in the entire world. Queen Elizabeth II took her last breath peacefully at 96 at Balmoral Castle in the Scottish Highlands. Her passing led to the declaration of a mourning period, which will last for eleven days.
This will cause the postponement of all activities. All institutions of state, including the British Boxing Board of control, have received the news of her death with sadness and made a big declaration showing a respect to the majesty.
