The British YouTuber and rapper KSI and the American Internet star Alex Wassabi are inching close to a collision. They will square off on August 27 inside O2 Arena in London. Before that, the duo came across each other at a press conference and claimed to win the bout. Interestingly, while going back and forth, Wassabi did something that recalled the rapper’s press conference with his former rival and opponent, Logan Paul.

In the press conference, ahead of the fight, Wassabi manifested ‘The Maverick’. As, in the end, he showed a victory sign and left the conference. He paid no heed to his opponent’s remarks, who was still hurling insults at him.

In a similar pattern, the Ohio-based boxer had dropped the mike when he was out for a press conference against the British YouTuber.

The duo fought twice. The first bout ended in a controversial draw, which eventually framed a base for their second contest. In the second fight, the British star clinched victory by decision.

Later, ‘The Nightmare’ and Paul stunned his fans as they joined hands and launched their business venture. Now, after a long layoff, the 1-0 boxer is coming back to take revenge on his brother’s opponent.

Wassabi and Deji (KSI’s younger brother) fought earlier this year. It was a debut match for Wassabi. Surprisingly, the more experienced Deji came out of the bout with a loss against the debutant. Sadly, it was the third straight loss for Deji.

Wassabi denied meeting KSI earlier this year

After announcing the fight against the American, the Brit went to LA to check out his opponent. However, Wassabi, who is less aggressive than the latter, decided not to meet KSI.

Later, he told the media that he was busy in training and did not want to face the rapper because it would have only killed his time, as he knew the British YouTuber was there to engage in trash talk and mind games.
