It is often said that a boxer is incomplete without his/her team. Similarly, one of the things that Floyd Mayweather Jr. holds close to his heart is his Money Team. Mayweather’s team has been an integral part of a majority of his ventures. Meanwhile, a recently resurfaced video showed comedian James Corden threatening a member of the Money team.

Corden met Mayweather ahead of his unprecedented matchup against UFC superstar Conor McGregor in 2017. Notably, this was a part of Showtime’s ALL ACCESS ahead of the fight.

Talking on the show, Corden hilariously said, “What a lot of people don’t know is I’ve worked with Floyd for a long time. I’m basically his emotional guru. He’s nothing without me. That’s his words, not mine.”

Corden further turned his gaze towards a visibly larger and intimidating member of The Money Team. And, as a part of his act, he proceeded to threaten the man. He said, “What are you looking at? I swear to God I will knock you out. You know the rules. You don’t look me in the eye.”

Mayweather, on the other hand, was amused by this turn of events. When Corden asked Mayweather if he could knock the member down, he nodded in agreement. And also mentioned that his teammate should not have looked Corden in the eye. The duo also went on to take a dig at Mayweather’s, then-upcoming, opponent, McGregor.

The Floyd Mayweather vs Conor McGregor showdown

McGregor had previously expressed his desire to transition into boxing. On March 7, 2017, Mayweather asked McGregor to make the fight happen and sign the contract.
