After their first edition, they are back again. This time, Ryan Garcia attempts to break Bobbi Althoff‘s deadpan character by cracking a joke but fails miserably. Moreover, the American boxer found himself getting called a “baby” and had a “self-sabotaging” moment. So what all went down when he sat down with a dry-witted host in Bobbi Althoff?

Ryan Garcia and Bobbi Althoff have recorded a new episode of the latter’s ‘The Really Good Podcast’ and released a couple of humorous clips ahead of its release on Tuesday. In one clip, Althoff asked when the lightweight star started his boxing career, and Garcia replied, “7 years old.”

Althoff then responded with a question and asked, “So, like 10 years ago? How old are you?” This caught the 24-1 record holder off guard, and he burst out with laughter and remarked, “I’m not 17. You are crazy.” When asked again, Garcia admitted that he was 25. The host then had a quirky answer as she declared, “You are a baby.”

While Garcia pointed out that’s something he heard a lot, Althoff believed it was true. The two then have a brief interaction about Jack Harlow’s song, where the 25-year-old boxer tried to remind Althoff of a song where a female voice sang “I’m a baby” lyrics but to no avail. In the end, Garcia called Althoff “uncultured,” but that was not the end of his futile efforts.

In the second clip, Althoff touched on the topic of Garcia getting robbed. The Victorville native took the conversation on a lighter note and stated, “8 AM, in the morning. So somebody said, top of the morning, ‘let’s go rob him’. Somebody is drinking a coffee, right? And the first thought they have,’let’s go rob him’. That’s crazy.”

When Althoff, unfazed by Garcia’s attempts to crack a joke, asked what they took, Garcia revealed it was a $54,000 watch. After clearing up they didn’t take his purse, Garcia expressed happiness over his Casa Sudo being safe from the heist. But Althoff wasn’t aware of Casa Sudo. “Casa Sudo. You don’t know what that is it called? It’s a drink,” Garcia explained. However, Althoff wondered whether the drink was worth a lot more than the stuff that was stolen.

“No, I was just making a joke. You are making me feel weird right now. I’m actually feeling very uncomfortable,” Garcia told Althoff after another of his attempts to have an amusing conversation tanked. “That’s not what I’m trying to do at all. I think you are doing that on your own,” Althoff hit back in her defense and left him speculating. “Maybe I’m self-sabotaging,” Garcia soon followed up.

This was not the first time when both had shared an awkward conversation, which is Althoff’s staple style and even made her famous. A video of Garcia throwing a punch while Althoff held the mitts went viral on the internet, as did the subsequent visuals when Garcia chased her in circles.
