As the Tommy FuryKSI brawl draws closer, fans have started placing their bets and predicting the results. The bout which is set for the 14th of October has gathered much hype as this will be a hit at not only Fury but also Jake Paul if KSI wins. Fury guarantees that the YouTuber will leave the ring in an ambulance while KSI has claimed that it will not be as easy as the fight with Jake Paul.

KSI in a recent podcast on DAZN Boxing has made another claim before the fight. This one, however, is in regards to Ryan Garcia, the former WBC interim lightweight champion who holds a record of 23 wins, out of which 19 ended with a knockout and one loss. How does KSI think he’ll fare in front of Garcia?

KSI debuted in the world of influencer boxing by defeating Logan Paul in 2019 at the age of 26. Since then he has stepped into the ring 7 times, winning 5 of the matches, 4 with a knockout. His bout with Fury will confirm if the rapper stays undefeated or is dealt his first loss.

While tasking him with the categorization of statements as ‘cap’ or ‘no cap’, his co-hosts Anthony Joshua and Ade Oladipo posed him a question of whether he could take down Garcia. To this, KSI removed and put down his cap, signaling ‘no cap’, meaning the statement stands true. “Obviously, I am quite heavy. But he’s gonna think he can destroy me but I don’t know like I’m awkward,” before breaking out laughing.

Though KSI had already put down his cap, he seemed unsure of his own answer. Not specifically saying anything, he indicated that Garcia, not considering KSI an unworthy opponent, might be a wrong calculation on his part.

The much-awaited fight is scheduled to be held as the main event at the Manchester Arena. The undercard also has Logan Paul battling Dillon Danis. The ‘Love Island’ star is not worried and is ready to show KSI what it feels like to fight a professional boxer. Though Fury is yet to own an undisputed championship title, he is certain it is not too far from him.

KSI, who earlier had plans of taking on Jake Paul, had shifted to Fury after he defeated Paul through a split decision. Dominating Fury would mean establishing his superiority to both Fury and Paul. KSI is fueled and ready to take on this challenge.
