The boxing fanbase is expecting a heavyweight title unification clash between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua in 2021. However, it might be a bit early to predict, as former WBC champion Deontay Wilder is still relevant to the title picture.
Following Wilder’s maiden loss in the rematch against Fury, several people believed it was over for him. However, Wilder deserves a third fight and if he validates the contract, it might deprive the fans of Fury vs Joshua.
That said, Wider’s co-manager, Shelly Finkel claims the contractual mediation to be an ongoing process. So, it might bring him back into the fight talks, and 2021 appears as a right moment for that.

Speaking with WBN, Finkel said, “The mediation between Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury has not yet ended,”
The Fury vs Wilder rivalry has seen several turns by now. The feud became dramatic with every bygone day, and it seems to revive itself in the future. Despite the feelings of the fans, if Wilder validates the contract, it will force Fury to jump in with him.
Well, Tyson Fury had always asked for the trilogy. But Wilder’s camp went through a wave of turmoils that saw him part ways with his trainer and come up with several justifications for the loss.
Nevertheless, it’s 2021 and ‘The Bronze Bomber’ could have found his fighting spirit and the championship mindset to stage an epic return.
Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua- Not a fight to make
Well, starting from Matchroom to Top Rank, everyone wants to settle the title unification fight. Bob Arum even called it the biggest heavyweight championship fight since Ali vs Frazier in 1971.
It looks like the stage is set for the biggest Heavyweight championship fight since Ali-Frazier in 1971, when @Tyson_Fury meets @anthonyfjoshua for the undisputed crown.
We at Top Rank will start on Monday working to put that fight together.

However, Fury cannot surpass Wilder at this stage. The two have produced two back-to-back blockbusters and it would seem incomplete without a third settlement.
