Since then, Haney has shown interest in many big-time fighters including Ryan Garcia and Gervonta Davis. Due to constant activity on social media by Haney and his team, he has gained many followers over the past weeks.

With fame comes flocks of fans and well, haters too! Haney took to Instagram to show a new outfit and was hoping to make a statement. But things sort of went haywire! The star’s fashion sense backfired as the whole comment section was filled with what appeared to be light disgust.

There is no doubt that Haney possesses some immense wealth due to his success in the sport. ‘The Dream’ captioned his latest post as “I’m only rocking carats”. The post captured him in front of an elevator wearing multiple designer clothes and accessories. The post consisted of six photos and a video.

Haney donned a pair of Balenciaga boots, a stylish jacket, attractive diamond accessories, sunglasses, and a very high-end T-shirt with some longish shorts. The video that he shared captured him flexing a diamond necklace that read ‘The Dream’.

Although he was trying to make a statement with his branded outfit, and some “carats,” but his style statement did not sit right with the online community. The fans did not hold back against the WBC Super Lightweight champion.
