IBF female bantamweight champion Ebaine Bridges is currently emerging as one of the better champions in the stacked female division. The Australian boxer made her first title defense against Shannon O’Connell. However, despite winning the fight she suffered a brutal hand injury that has left her on the sidelines for some time.
Moreover, during her recovery, she is following up on the saga unfolding between unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk and WBC champion Tyson Fury for their highly anticipated title indication bout. Following Fury’s victory over Derek Chisora, the two camps have been in talks for booking the fight this year. However, Fury has played his hand quite well in getting Usyk’s camp to accept a 70/30 revenue split in his favor, with some donations to Ukraine. Despite this, Bridges thinks that the unified champion is not being treated fairly.
In a recent tweet ‘The Blond Bomber’ called out Fury claiming that his behavior with the Ukraninan has not been cordial. This is even after the fact that Usyk holds three belts to Fury’s one. “The way Tyson fury is treating Usyk – he acting like he has 3 of the 4 belts not the other way round,” she wrote. However, the fans were not on the same page as the Australian champion as they called her out for this statement by reacting to it in the comments section.

Moreover, a user named @Tony_White1 revealed that Fury has negotiated like this with everyone. However, according to him ‘The Gypsy King’ was not that great, and also gave his reasons for it.
He’s negotiated the same way with everyone. He won’t fight anyone that’s a threat. People call him a great however a failed drugs test and two trilogy’s against Wilder and Chisora just don’t justify that.

A user named @SOLDIER4christx boldly declared that Fury was the reason Usyk and Antony Joshua even had belts in the first place,
Let's have it right – if it wasn't for tyson fury usyk wouldn't have a belt. Nor Joshua

The fans were certainly not with Bridges on this take as they thought Fury’s treatment was justified given his status. However, there were also fans who agreed with ‘The Blond Bomber’ and thought that ‘The Gypsy King’ was overplaying his hand. Nonetheless, these negotiations are often hidden from the public and even if Usyk does get the lower hand in the revenues, he will still earn the biggest paychcek of his boxing career.
