In a recent interview, the former super-middleweight champion boosted his undefeated boxing record and claimed to go down in history as a legend by surpassing Mayweather’s 50-0 milestone.

Hailing from Mexico, Ramirez is the biggest name after former pound-for-pound Canelo Alvarez in his country. So if he takes a shot at Canelo in the future and defeats him, he will certainly become the biggest star.

Regarding this, the reporter who visited Ramirez’s gym asked, “Is that what you’re trying to do? Beat Mayweather’s record and then beat Canelo?”

To which, he replied, “yeah, of course, that’s what I want. I’m going to be a legend. And I’m looking forward. I’m looking for my legacy and November 5th will be a great night for me.”

Why November 5th is so important for Zurdo Ramirez?

November 5th is going to be the biggest challenge for the former super-middleweight champion because he will square off with undefeated WBA light heavyweight champion Dmitry Bivol. This highly exciting contest from the sports point of view will take place in the UAE.
