UFC Middleweight champion Israel Adesanya is one of the most accomplished kickboxers in the world right now. The Last Stylebender has competed in 80 professional kickboxing bouts with a record of 75-5 and was a challenger for the Glory Middleweight title.

However, even though he managed to have such an accomplished career in kickboxing, he hasn’t made a lot of money according to former kickboxer and controversial social media celebrity Andrew Tate as he revealed how Adesanya actually made his money and how others could do it too.

Tate reveals how to make money like Israel Adesanya

In an interview, Tate stated that a lot of people asked if he became rich through kickboxing and answered that question by revealing how much he made as a kickboxer.

People ask me if kickboxing ever made me rich, the most I got paid for a fight was $100,000 which sounds like a lot of money.” However, he then added that this was not the case as he had to give the people working with him their share of the paycheck.”In the grand scheme of things, it’s not a lot of money you have to pay your manager 20%, 10% out for various fees, and your only fight twice a year, and you gotta pay your rent.”

It seems like kickboxing is not a profession as lucrative as MMA, according to Tate, who was a kickboxer himself. This statement by Tate does hold some weight, as we have seen many kickboxers transition in MMA, like Adesanya, to make a better living.

The kickboxing career of Andrew Tate

Before all his fame as an influencer, Andrew Tate was a professional kickboxer who started his career in 2009 after winning the International Sport Karate Association English light-cruiserweight title. The defining moment of his career came when he won the ISKA Cruiserweight championship back in 2013.

However, the state retired from the sport back in 2020 fighting his last fight in Romania, after he was convinced that this would not give him the lifestyle he wants, after which he became an influencer who gained a massive following since his rise in 2021.
