“That B**ch Is Down!”: Mike Tyson Left Stunned by UFC Fighter Molly McCann’s Spinning Back Elbow Knockout

Boxing legend Mike Tyson has always had a knack for knockouts. During his prime, Tyson was among to most feared boxers in the world known for knocking his opponents out just a few minutes into the fight. In his 56 professional fights, he won 44 of them via knockout, an incredible 88% KO rate.

So it came as no surprise when Iron Mike got excited to see a knockout by UFC flyweight contender Molly McCann. In an episode of his podcast Hotboxin, Tyson along with UFC superstar and McCann’s close friend Paddy Pimblett reacted to her iconic spinning back elbow knockout against Hannah Goldy at UFC London. Tyson was surprised by how tall McCann was for the division and even referred to her by her nickname, ‘meatball’.

“She has a long a** reach, long feet and s**t. Look at how tall she is. Oh down she goes, Oh down she goes that b**h is down Molly with the meatball Polly,” said Tyson.

The former heavyweight champion was certainly impressed with ‘meatball’ and her impressive spinning back elbow. Moreover, this might be a glimpse into McCann’s UFC career, which has only started to take off. Her exciting style, along with her friendly and cheerful personality have made her a fan favorite in the sport.

The most iconic knockouts in the career of Mike Tyson

Tyson had a notorious reputation in boxing stemming from his ability to put people to sleep. However, there are a few knockouts in his historic career that stand out from the rest. One of them was his knockout of Michael Spinks back in 1988. Although this was not the most impressive knockout of Tyson’s career, it was one of the most important ones. Iron Mike put his heavyweight championship belts on the line against Spinks, who was never knocked down in his career. Tyson went on to end the fight in 90 seconds, proving that he was the real deal.

Another iconic knockout of his career was against Trevor Berbick, who Tyson beat to become the youngest heavyweight champion. At just 20 years old, Tyson sent Berbick to the canvas twice during the fight, ending him with a right hook in the second round. Some of his other iconic knockouts include his first-round KOs of Frank Bruno and Henry Tillman.
