“I Told Him to Break It” the Big Show Finally Reveals Why Floyd Mayweather Broke His Nose

The seven-time world champion has indeed walked a long path since the beginning of his journey in wrestling.
Paul Wight recently appeared on Submission Radio and talked about his journey alongside hosts Kacper Roslowski and Denis Shukratov. They shared laughs and talked about popular wrestlers and pro wrestling.

At one point in their conversation, Shukratov reminded Wight about the time he squared off with ‘Money’ Mayweather, and how the undefeated boxer broke Wight’s nose.
Why did Floyd Mayweather break the Big Show’s nose?
Back in the day, when Denis Shukratov watched the segment for the first time, he felt Floyd Mayweather broke Wight’s nose out of the script and by a major accident. Of course, The Big Show looked really angry and as Shukratov put it, it “did make people” want to run for their lives. However, there was a plan, and this is exactly what went between The Big Show and Mayweather, far away from lights and fans.

“I told him to punch my nose, I told him to break it. I said yeah, go ahead and punch me. Don’t shove it on the back of my head, but you can tap it,” told Wight.
Paul Wight felt that it would be good for people’s entertainment and so he asked ‘Money’ to break his nose. Undoubtedly, Wight was right, and that one moment stole the show.
“I mean to get a chance to work with probably one of the greatest fighters of all time, certainly one of the greatest defensive fighters of all time. To work with Floyd, to have that opportunity for that spotlight at WrestleMania,” he added. Well, one can only imagine what it may have meant to Wight to share the ring with Mayweather.
