Tennis legend Martina Navratilova is one of the finest women’s tennis players of all time. She has won 18 Grand Slam titles in her illustrious career. However, she did not confine her prowess only to the tennis court. As she fought for noble causes such as Gay rights and gender equality in society.
However, a recent article in the New York times has blatantly labeled the former world number 1 as a TERF (Trans – exclusionary radical feminists) for her thoughts on the trans players competing with female athletes. As she called it biologically unfair. However, the 65 years old got support from the OutKick founder Clay Travis. Who called out the New York times for their treatment of one of the best female athletes of all time.

Martina Navratilova reiterates clay’s take on the transgender athlete debate
Calling out the New York times for their biased behavior, Clay Travis said that it is strange how even famous women’s rights and LGBTQ activists are being silenced for opposing the inclusion of transgender athletes into women’s sports.

In a tweet, Clay Travis also spoke about the strange demand from a gay rights activist to not quote Martina as she holds objectionable views on the rights of the transgender community. Sharing the tweet from Clay, Martina agreed with him and wrote.

Notably, the OutKick founder stated on his Tuesday show that men who identify themselves as women have a physical advantage over the other women players.
“Men who decide to identify as women have a huge competitive advantage… men are bigger, stronger, and faster than women.” He said.
Navratilova Criticizes players’ decision to skip Wimbledon
In a recent development, tennis governing bodies ATP and WTA stripped Wimbledon of its ranking points. Reacting to the situation, the former Wimbledon champion stated that she would have played out of sheer love for the game and not for some ranking points. As Wimbledon is one of the most prestigious tournaments to win for any tennis player.
“I don’t understand that view that players won’t play because there are no points. So you’re playing for computer ranking? I just wanted to hold the trophy.” She said.

Notably, Navratilova is the most successful woman in Wimbledon, with nine trophies to her name. A record that isn’t broken till now.
