Fans have had tons of fun playing Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War following the Season 4 update. The patch has introduced tons of new weapons, maps and many more. Along with that, within a few weeks, players will receive the Mauer Der Toten DLC map for Zombies as well.

But as we move into the last stretch before the release of WWII: Vanguard, fans are wondering about the state of Treyarch game before and after its release. Many of them believe that the content for the game following the release of the upcoming title from Sledgehammer Games will dry up, Others are hoping for some minor content updates from the developers similar to Modern Warfare, even though it never reached that heights of success. Does Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War have nighttime maps?

Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War has Outbreak maps that have nighttime variants, at least sometimes because of the Dark Aether holdouts. In this Zombies mode, the developers have added a night filter to all the maps when players start the holdout objective. Along with that, the Sanatorium map which arrived during the mid-season update in late March of this year takes place in the dark as well.

It’s clear to see that it wouldn’t be too hard for Treyarch to develop these maps and release it as DLCs in the upcoming months. Fans will have to wait for a few more months before they have their first look at Call of Duty WWII: Vanguard. Until then, they can enjoy a lot with these maps in the dark because the gameplay will change a lot. They can even release it for multiplayer which should excite a lot of players as well.
