If I wasn’t big and scary, even my family would’ve put me in a psychiatric hospital because they think I was losing my sense. Mike Tyson has made a bold claim
Mike Tyson, Ngannou’s trainer for the fight, firmly believes that Francis Ngannou can knock out any elite-level boxer in his path. ‘Iron’ Mike made a statement which fans may consider far-fetched. He believes if Ngannou landed a punch on Fury’s jaw, Fury wouldn’t be able to withstand it. Mike’s confidence in Ngannou stems from the Cameroonian fighter’s exceptional ability to finish fights with a single punch. His record in the UFC, boasting 12 knockouts out of 17 wins, speaks volumes about his capacity to end fights swiftly.
Ngannou’s agility, despite his imposing physique, adds another dimension to his fighting style. His athleticism, combined with his devastating punching power, gives him a notable advantage inside the ring. The time Tyson has spent training the Cameroonian fighter also bolstered his confidence in Ngannou’s victory. Since joining Ngannou’s camp, Tyson has closely collaborated with him, contributing to the refinement of his skills. This hands-on experience has significantly impressed Mike, reinforcing his belief in Ngannou’s potential to emerge victorious in the upcoming fight.
Both the fighters are confident about their skills. Defeating Fury would bag Ngannou an enormous respect within fans and boxers alike. Will he be able to prove the naysayers wrong this time around as well? What do you think?
