The Los Angeles Clippers are set to face off against the Chicago Bulls very soon. Their last matchup saw the Clippers deploying Kawhi Leonard running the offense and securing 19 points and nine boards. However, the match also ended up with Leonard getting left groin soreness. Though he managed to make an appearance during the next clash against the Timberwolves, he had to drop out of the game after the first quarter. Since then, fans have wondered whether the player will be healthy enough to take on DeMar DeRozan and the Bulls.
Local Chicago Bulls journalist Drew Stevens added a tweet on X to provide an update on Kawhi Leonard’s availability. He stated that Kawhi Leonard and James Harden have been “listed as ‘questionable’ for Bulls/Clippers Thursday.”

James Harden had been reportedly listed in the Injury Report after developing a left shoulder strain. He will return to the court after securing a low score of 12 points, 2 rebounds, and 7 assists during the previous game.
The previous injury report had also listed Leonard as ‘questionable’, but he managed to play against the Timberwolves. The reason he dropped out was because of an issue with his back. However, there is no mention of his back in the report, so one can assume that the small forward might share the court with his team once again. Moreover, he would also like to keep his momentum going as the regular season reaches a close.

If one needs to understand the effect that Kawhi Leonard has in tilting the odds in favor of the Clippers, all one needs to do is look at his recent performance. During his last 10 games, he has secured an average of 21.8 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 3.8 assists. He has scored in the double digits in 9 of those games. Leonard has maintained a 50.3% field goal percentage, his three-point percentage has dropped to 27.3%, and his free throw percentage has seen a drastic increase of 87.8%.
If he continues to focus on his three-pointers, then the two-time NBA champion has an excellent chance of becoming the 10th member to join the 50-40-90 (FG, 3PT, FT percentages) club. During his matchup against the Timberwolves on the 3rd of March, Leonard scored an astonishing 32 points in just 38 minutes of gameplay. The score gave his team a much-needed edge, allowing them to secure a victory by barely 1 point.
