James Harden’s future has captivated NBA fans for the past few weeks. After all, it looks like the 2018 NBA MVP is looking to leave the 76ers after joining them in 2022.

Recently, Embiid also gave an insight into his future. The 6-time NBA All-Star wants to win an NBA championship, whatever it takes. Moreover, the 7-foot-tall star also mentioned that winning a championship might take him away from the 76ers.

“I just want to win a championship. Whatever it takes. I don’t know where that’s gonna be. Whether it’s in Philly or anywhere else. I just want to have a chance”, said Embiid according to eminent journalist Evan Sidery.

He is currently under contract with the 76ers until 2026-27. Embiid will earn around $47 million next season and this amount will increase to $50 million during the 2024-25 season. Considering his huge contract, only a massive trade including multiple picks and players can take the Cameroonian away from the Sixers.
