Williams indeed put up a miraculous effort, playing 35 minutes after returning from a grave injury. When he rolled his ankle against the Grizzlies a few days ago, he had played only 10 minutes and management ruled him out for the next game, citing an ankle sprain.
The sophomore star was expected to miss tonight’s game as well, but the team didn’t list him in the injury report ahead of the Mavs clash. The star even credited the medical staff after the game for his quick recovery. Williams added, “Tired. That’s about it… I rolled both of them last time… Shout out to the medical staff.”

Considering the number of games that Stephen Curry missed after rolling an ankle, Williams definitely has turned it around after rolling both of his. In Steph’s absence, the Warriors have lost two out of their three games. Similarly, in the absence of Jalen Williams, the OKC suffered a shocking loss against the Indiana Pacers.
The 22-year-old has managed to make himself a crucial piece in the OKC fold in his sophomore year. Compared to his rookie season, he has taken a tremendous leap.
