Known for answering his critics ruthlessly, ‘KD’ recently bashed a fake tweet that quoted a false phrase under his identity.

Recently, there is a viral quote that is doing the rounds on the internet, which is supposedly quoted by Durant. “I’m 7′ tall and have the skillset of a shooting guard. I am the best scorer in NBA history, my only weakness is injuries,” it read.

Although this might sound true, this is actually a fake quote attributed to Durant. An account impersonating a popular NBA updates account posted this, and it instantly gained traction, with upwards of 7 million views at the time of writing.

One of the most under-fire media personalities in the NBA right now, reporter Stephen A. Smith, went all out on Durant recently. The veteran NBA analyst failed to understand the need for a burner account, which resulted in a sound verbal bashing of the ‘Slim Reaper’.

“If you’re gonna say something, stand on it,” said Smith. Even worse, this came just days after Durant revealed that he already has a burner account on Instagram’s latest social media platform, Threads.
