The families of NBA stars are in the limelight for various reasons. The parents come into the picture because they act as ad-hoc agents before their kids become the next big thing. In other cases,  the families come into the picture because they show their support to their siblings and children.

In other cases, the families of the NBA families come into the picture because they become newsworthy in their own right.  In very rare cases, NBA players introduce their family members to NBA fans in a bid to express their love to them. And that’s what happened a while ago when an NBA star posted a picture of himself with his daughter on Instagram.

Murray is married to Jania Meshell. The two started dating in 2020 and later on got married. Dejounte had earlier announced the pregnancy with a photo of him with Meshell on Instagram. Meshell is a businesswoman and runs a lifestyle brand.

NBA star shares heartwarming photo of his daughter

Dejounte Murray recently welcomed his first daughter. He posted a picture of hers on Instagram with a thoughtful and heartwarming message, rendering himself a ‘girldad’.

Dejounte started his career with the San Antonio Spurs and played with them until 2022. Since then, he plays for the Atlanta Hawks. His heartwarming post read, “I Was Never Taught How To Be A Father Or The Importance Of Being A Father But Having My Own I Swear That Sh*+ Hit Different And Is The Best Feeling In The WORLD!!! 💯🙏🏽 I Love My Big And Lil Princesses 👸🏽 #GirlDad 😘🥰😍💞💕 UNBREAKABLE BOND!!!!! 🤞🏽♾”
