After the downfall of TNA and Impact Wrestling, WWE enjoyed complete dominance in the pro-wrestling business for over a decade till AEW came in. Although Toyn Khan’s AEW has managed to put on WWE-level PPVs in the last few months, their production output is still not on par or as consistent as the older promotion.
While there have been many instances of botched clips from both companies, a moment from the recent episode of AEW Collision resurfaced the glaring differences. On one hand, we have a SmackDown show with record numbers, and on the other, a botched moment from AEW.

As we know, the backstage interviews are scripted and mostly pre-recorded. This one had over 21 takes before the uploaded clip. The clip also shows a frustrated Keith Lee standing in a white hoodie and track pants.

The moment captured also indicated the difference between the production output of WWE and AEW as SmackDown recorded an amazing show this Friday. It happened after the sudden appearance of The Rock, John Cena, and former commentator Pat McAfee following WWE completing their merger with Endeavor, thus forming TKO Holdings.

While ‘The Rock’ and Pat McAfee opened the show in Denver, Colorado, in a segment featuring Austin Theory, John Cena elevated the show later with his appearance on The Grayson Waller Effect segment. Later on, Cena went on to fight Jey Uso and Solo Sikoa alongside AJ Styles.
Keith Lee trolls his botched moment from Collision
Keith Lee transferred to AEW in 2022 after his run in the WWE main roster was not as impressive as his NXT run. However, his run at AEW has also been hampered by many injuries and his current run seems directionless.
After the botch went viral for its hilarious 22 attempts moment, fans took the opportunity to troll AEW. Keith Lee took note of the botch and also roasted AEW with his tweet on X on 17th September with the caption, “EL.OH.EL” (LOL).

While it’s unsure whether the clip is a bit or a candid shot caught on camera, fans are pretty sure it might be the latter. After all, what good would AEW get from advertizing that it took 22 shots at an interview with Lee?
