Perhaps the most visible tattoo that CM Punk has is the ‘Straight Edge’ tattoo on his abs. The straight-edge tattoo is imprinted in an arc shape and signifies his commitment to a viceless life. The straight-edge lifestyle involves abstinence from alcohol, smoking, drugs, and having multiple sexual partners.

Speaking about it once in an interview, CM Punk said, “I don’t smoke. I don’t drink. I don’t use drugs. That may be boring for some people, but that’s just me. That’s how I live my life.” Adding extra emphasis to his drug-free life, he also has the letters’ drug-free’ on his fingers. People following a straight-edge lifestyle also avoid meat consumption.

All the skulls on Punk’s body

The skull is one of the most popular tattoo choices for many. While CM Punk also has skulls inked on his body, they carry both aesthetic and philosophical value. He has a big skull tattoo on one of his pecs, a small skull on his wrist, and a ‘Skull Pez Dispenser’ tattoo on his bicep.

CM Punk also has an ‘Evil Virgin Mary’ tattoo on his inner bicep. Speaking about it, he once said, “It’s like a prayer card, but it’s a skull. I love the portrait. There is just something romantic about it. I think it’s very cool.” The last of his skull tattoos is below his knee, which carries the abbreviation GFY for “Go F*** Yourself.”

CM Punk and his love for G. I. Joe

CM Punk is a big G.I. Joe fan, and this is also reflected on his body via his tattoos. The “Best in the World” borrowed a couple of designs for his body from the Dwayne Johnson-starred film franchise.

One of them is a spitfire cobra on his arm, showcasing a red cobra with a broad and vicious hood.

Real Reason Why CM Punk Adopted the Straight Edge Lifestyle?

The other tattoo belongs to the ‘Arshikage Ninja Clan,’ one of the prominent clans in the G.I. Joe universe. This tattoo rests on his right forearm.
