Lately, a tweet from a professional wrestling fan has created a buzz all over the wrestling world. The tweet is getting the spotlight as the WWE CCO Triple H also acknowledged it with a ‘like’. But the tweet was not about WWE only. Instead, in the tweet, the user is taking the side of AEW. And to another surprise, all this happened just a few hours after Cody Rhodes’ on-air AEW reference on RAW, where he he subtly referenced his time in Tony Khan’s promotion during the pandemic.

Triple H subtly acknowledges AEW’s success

Recently, the WWE chief content officer Triple H liked a tweet by a fan about the growing popularity of Tony Khan’s company. The tweet was about AEW’s popularity despite its declining TV ratings.

The tweet says that if AEW is not doing well why would Warner Bros. give it another show? According to the fan, TV ratings are an outdated way to measure popularity. He also mentioned that WWE has 50% of what it had a decade ago but it’s more profitable than ever.

And to the surprise, the WWE CCO seems to agree with this fan as he liked his tweet which was later removed because of unexplained reasons. However, the fan took the opportunity and immediately uploaded the evidence of Triple H liking his post in the very next tweet.

This action clearly indicates that no matter how bitter WWE and AEW’s relations are, ‘The Game’ acknowledges that Tony Khan’s company is really growing very fast. However, since the tweet also mentions WWE’s recent success, it could be another reason why HHH chose to like this tweet.

The main reason why Triple H’s one like is getting a huge response is that the fan tweet was all about defending All Elite Wrestling.

The story began when AEW announced that a huge number of tickets are already sold for the company’s PPV ‘All In’ which is going to be held at Wembley Stadium in London in August this year. 

However, this fact didn’t sit well with a disparager as he reminded everyone that the AEW is losing the TV ratings and almost 30,000 seats are still left. To this, one fan responded with the abovementioned tweet. This came to Triple H’s notice and ‘The Game’ solidified his words with a single like.
