There are many things that go on in a wrestler’s head apart from the fans and the match. One of the biggest ones is being injured. Not only does the work and fame they’ve amassed till that point halt but there are also the after-effects of surgeries on their life in the long-term. One legend who has gone through this process a lot of times is Hulk Hogan and he’s warning people about it.
Over the years, Hogan has had 28 surgeries to treat various injuries accumulated over a three-decade wrestling career. But the period that altered his state of being was not the surgery itself, but the ruthless medication forced on him. And now, Hogan is warning young people about it in the open.

Appearing on the MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani. Hogan talked about a lot of things, from his wrestling career to his current position in life. In the interview, Hogan also gave the viewers and Helwani a clear picture of his medical history. Being the face of WWE for more than a decade, Hogan took a lot of bumps and ended up in the hospital many times.

But it wasn’t the surgery that haunts him today, it’s the drugs the doctors prescribed him. He said, “I didn’t even know who Terry was. That’s my real name. I was just lost in the medical world. I was listening to what the doctors were telling me to do and what to take and I wasn’t even myself. So, I decided to walk this backward. Get away from these pharmaceuticals and what doctors kept prescribing me.”
After numerous surgeries Hogan would’ve had to rely on a lot of medication to cope with the after-effects leading to his medical dependency on pharmaceutical drugs.
After saying everything about the hospitals, Hogan credited Mike Tyson as one of the people who helped him with his recovery. He also cited CBD as a treatment that helped him get away from pharmaceutical drugs and painkillers. Now, Hogan is also connected to Tyson and his fellow WWE legend, Ric Flair through this as well.

Just a few days ago, Hogan confirmed that he will be launching a new wellness brand with the Carma HoldCo. This company already works with two WWE Hall of Famers, Mike Tyson and Ric Flair. This venture will involve Hogan selling mushrooms, CBD, and THC.
While releasing this brand, the biggest headline that Hogan provided was that he felt like a 25-year-old again. It should be noted that the 69-year-old just came back from the hospital after undergoing another surgery just a few months ago.
