A section of the WWE Universe was in shock when news broke that the WWE had released the then-reigning NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose. The 33-year-old, who served as the leader of the Toxic Attraction stable, was let go due to a breach of contract in December 2022.

Rose was found guilty of selling content that was against WWE’s policy and her contract was terminated immediately. Her unceremonious exit has since been a topic of debate among pro wrestling fans. Wrestling fans have not seen her inside the ring since she keeps in touch with her fans through social media.

During one such interaction, Rose entertained her followers with a Q&A session on Instagram. When she was asked, “Will u wrestle again?”, the former NXT star replied, “Funny you asked… your girl may or may not be a free agent very soon.” She also posted it as part of her Instagram story. The fact that she hasn’t signed with any other promotions since her firing nine months ago has also raised expectations among WWE fans.

No place for the 14-time champion in a Vince McMahon-led board

It is common knowledge that Triple H and Vince McMahon are relatives. By virtue of his marriage with Stephanie McMahon, Hunter is Vince McMahon’s son-in-law. But the familial tie between them did not secure him a position on the newly formed board for TKO- the company that has been formed by merging WWE and UFC.

According to an official press release, McMahon will lead the board as its Executive Chairman. Interestingly, WWE President Nick Khan has been named as part of the board alongside his current role.

Triple H is likely to remain as the Chief Content Officer of the pro wrestling side of the company. Meanwhile, the 54-year-old has been instrumental in re-signing several talents who had left the Stamford-based promotion earlier. Fans have also hailed his run due to its stable nature. But will The Game get back Rose? Well, fans will have to adopt a wait-and-see approach for this one.
