Bodybuilding, as exhaustive as it is, requires a lot of time and attention. Albeit bodybuilders show up at many public events and interviews, fans often are curious to take a peek into their personal lives. The last four consecutive Classic Physique Champions, Chris Bumstead, had made several public appearances with his partner, Courtney King. Evidently confessed, Chris agrees that both of them do not have a similar outlook on raising their kids.

CBum deliberately states how he doesn’t concur with everything his partner believes in. Both individuals possess their own beliefs, however, their goals are alike when it comes to raising their kids.

Chris Bumstead announces that he doesn’t want his kids to strictly follow only what his partner says

The four-time Mr Olympia, Bumstead, recently gave an interview. In the podcast posted on YouTube by RAW Nutrition, Chris reportedly says, “she’s she wants to raise our kids religious because she’s Christian”. While Bumstead shows a little dilly-dallying when he couldn’t find the right word to address his partner’s religious choice, he admits, “I don’t know which way it goes.”

Although, Bumstead vehemently declared, “I can teach my kids good morals and values without going to church. She was learning them by going to church, so I’m like, why do they have to go to church.” He soon admitted that he had listened to bible stories. And now he doesn’t oppose his future kids going to church. However, he vocalizes, “I’m not going to tell them I’m religious.”

Calling themselves rationale, Bumstead waves away possible accusations of them not figuring out a way together. He also reflects upon the necessity of having similar views with partners.

Bumstead believes that politics has nothing to do with the upbringing of children. “I don’t think political views is how you raise it your kids don’t know what f****** politics are. It comes down to morals and values.” He firmly puts forward how if the parents live a good life themselves, politics wouldn’t be a thing to consider. Chris further states that one shouldn’t marry someone who puts politics as the sole deciding factor for important things like raising children.

No matter the differences in personalities, Chris Bumstead believes in the importance of having similar end goals and interests with his partner, Courtney King. Only time can tell how the couple will help their future kids grow up.
