The dispute between Dominic Thiem and his former coach Gunter Bresnik just got uglier. After Bresnik accused Thiem and his father of disrespecting his work and being treacherous towards him, Thiem has finally put out his side of the story.

However, let’s first recall what Bresnik had said about his long time protege. Bresnik would badmouth Thiem and his father saying that without his support, Wolfgang would be a club trainer in Seebenstein. Dominic would be a futures player. Later, he opened up on why his collaboration with Dominic had ended a year ago.

Bresnik said that there were things he simply couldn’t understand. In addition, he explained that the values of honesty and loyalty weren’t much adhered to. Thiem gave a detailed statement to APA highlighting that he couldn’t leave these allegations on him untouched.
